There is an interesting review being conducted by the family justice system in England and Wales. Children are being asked their views on how to improve the family law system. The study includes a guide for children, telling them how to give opinions on how they should be treated. The study is also investigating how children can communicate to the family courts.
The panel has spent a year talking to children, parents, and others involved in the family law system. It has found that the system is not working for children. In an interim report the study panel identified the need for a service the helps parents focus on children, greater utilization of parenting agreements, and focusing on where the children spend their time.
Hhhmmmn. This sounds like a lot of the same thought that we have going on here in the States.
