Sealing of divorce financial records unconstitutional

Family Code section 2024.61, provides that a court, upon the request of a party to a divorce proceeding, will seal any pleading that lists and provides the location or identifying information about the financial assets and liabilities of the parties, is unconstitutional on its face.  The Court of Appeal has now ruled that the statute is unconstitutional.  Click here to read the opinion.
